"Asleep At The Wheel "

I can hardly wait to go see "Asleep At The Wheel" on Sunday night. My all time favorite Texas Western Swing band. It is a smaller venue. It is actually going to be a dinner show. Only seats a few hundred people. We are 2nd table from the stage. Don't know if that is good or bad. I'll let you know. The Dosey Doe is a barn that is actually 150 years old, from Kentucky. They rebuilt it in The Woodlands, TX. It is suppose to have great Texas atmosphere. Maybe I'll take some pictures and post also.

Converse Chucks... Painted!

I have to share my painted shoe creations. First ones are Rachel's. They started out hot pink, then a few minor adjustments. I loved the way they turned out. The second ones are Emily and Becca's shoes. They started out white. You really can't tell that anymore. I pretty much painted every thing I could. Kinda looks like graffiti. Hope you enjoy.

Gary's Gig...

I went with Gary to the "Vintage Park" shopping area in Tomball, TX. There are several restaurants facing an outside area with lots of fountains and, yes, that is a large palm tree behind Gary. Beautiful brick and tile work through the whole complex. Had a wonderful time and Gary loves playing that "Good Ole Country Music". It was very hot and humid, still trying to figure out what I'm going to be doing in August when it's 100 degrees in the shade. (Stay inside). How ya like that Texas flag shirt?

My Lil' Helper

Just found this photo of my grandson Gabriel (Amy's oldest son). He is almost 2 years old. When I visited them in April, his little brother had not been born yet. We were so happy that he was "soft" with Roxy. We would remind him to "be soft" when he pet her and he was. We are hoping he will be "soft" with his little brother Caleb also. He would stand for a long time holding her leash while I got ready to take her for a walk. He would not let go of her when he walked her. She weighs all of 7 1/2 pounds and she managed to drag him down more than once, but he never let go. What a trooper.

Mother's Day

Gary and I went to my sister's house for Mother's Day. Her wonderful daughter, Megan and son, Destin cooked for us. My mom and brother was there also. Here's a picture of the 3 of us kidding around. Love ya Mom!!!

A Trip To The Vet...

I took Roxy to the Vet today for a check-up. She weighs 7lbs and the Doc says she is in perfect condition. A little spoiled I must say. But that's the way I like her. She is my baby. Although she kinda likes Gary too. Especially when she crawls on his chest to take a nap.
