Yuk...

Starting all over again on Monday. Went to my Mom's house and ate freely. Yum, biscuits and bacon. One good thing is I made lentil soup, full of veggies. Going to Curves also. But I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Co-op Raw Foods

Going to order a share of raw foods from a local co-op next week. Looking forward to eating some local fruit and vegetables. Sounds so good and healthy.

Great Smoothie

I made a protein shake this morning, and it was good. I've made a smoothie this evening out of spinach, summer squash and an apple. It is great. Should have gone to Curves this afternoon, but I didn't want to. There, I said it. I'll go tomorrow and won't feel guilty. Yea!!!

Drinking Tea

Here I am drinking tea like an Englishman. I had some apple and cinnamon tea and thought I would try it. Delicious. I'm finally coming off the caffeine treadmill. No coffee or Pepsi in 6 days. So I'm going to drink the healthier brew now. Can't say I won't every drink caffeine beverages, but not on a daily basis for a pick me up. All it does is spike my blood sugar and that's BAD.

Working Out...

Worked out at Curves today and actually sweat.  I really pushed it for the shape I'm in. Felt good though. They are closed during the weekend. So I need to find some other form of exercise, like ride my bike at midnight when it is a little cooler :)

Eating other than smoothies...

I've decided to eat a small amount today with my smoothies. Major part of my intake will be green smoothies, but a small amount of veggies will be good also. Maybe a few almonds.

I cooked lentils with carrots, squash, rotel tomatoes and a very small amount of low cal turkey sausage. It was delicious. I'm feeling good, but a little tired. That is to be expected when the toxins start moving out of your body. Not drinking enough water. "GOT TO DRINK MORE WATER". That's for everybody. Don't know anyone who drinks to much water.

P.S. No caffeine for 3 days! No pepsi or coffee. Yea for me!

Second Day

Second day on the green smoothie fast. I haven't got the recipe fine tuned yet. Today's smoothie wasn't what I would call wonderful. Not really even good. But it was palatable. I just keep saying to myself, "I love it". I do love getting healthier. Gary ate from Burger King. I was driving and ordered for him. Then we drove off with him eating and me drooling. This is so worth it.  I'm off to work out at Curves...
